Contributing to a consumer streaming application across mobile, tablet, TV, Fire OS and automotive, working within account, authentication, onboarding and subscription product areas.

  • Co-delivered customer-facing account opt-in experiences across phones, tablets and TV, implementing UI, business logic, API integration, feature flags and automated tests.
  • Prototyped voice capture and waveform visualisation, implemented production background uploads with WorkManager and S3, contributed to content sharing, and investigated playback reliability issues involving SDK dependencies.
  • Developed reusable AI-assisted documentation workflows adopted across Android, iOS, Web and Automotive engineering; enhanced Compose-specific code-review processes and supported engineering onboarding.

Led a three-person Android engineering team delivering a real-estate application, with responsibility across the product lifecycle.

  • Made architecture decisions, assigned work, mentored engineers and reviewed pull requests, from requirements and implementation through testing.
  • Helped modernise Java/XML implementations with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose; introduced feature flags, cache-first data access and scheduled background synchronisation.
  • Managed Google Play releases, application maintenance and stakeholder coordination after launch.

NotifyBridge status screen: broker connected, outbox empty, all notifications delivered

NotifyBridge

A pre-release Android app forwarding notifications to a local MQTT broker for Home Assistant. A persistent Room outbox handles broker outages; localisation tooling, automated tests and screenshot baselines support reliable delivery.
